How do I check if my family is eligible?
Enter your mobile or ration-card number at mera.pmjay.gov.in, or call the toll-free helpline 14555. The hospital's Ayushman desk can also check for you.
What documents are needed at admission?
Your Ayushman card (or eligibility slip) and Aadhaar card. If your family is listed but the card isn't made yet, the hospital desk helps you get it issued.
Is the treatment really free?
Treatment covered under the scheme is fully cashless — admission, surgery, medicines and tests, up to the ₹5 lakh yearly limit. Anything outside the scheme is explained clearly before admission.
